About me

Hello, I’m Dino Burbidge. In a nutshell, I help businesses understand what their future can hold and get them there. I spend an unhealthy amount of time learning how everything works so I can bring it to bear on every situation. From AI to product development, from company culture to out of home advertising (and everything in-between), I join your dots in the most practical ways possible.

I’ve spent 35 years collecting experience and the last 5 formulating, facilitation and delivering practical workshops that get to the answer, fast. The focus is helping you solve your challenges then generating the plan and momentum to deliver. I help you explore those difficult, often critical questions you don’t know how to tackle.

I have been advising organisations big and small, from Disney to the governments about what’s new, what’s important and most importantly, why it means to you. These can take the form of keynote presentations or bespoke “future scanning” projects.

At the very start of my career, I was the one you brought in to get things moving. It’s been like that ever since. I mix a rigour, deep practical experience and business knowledge to help companies and teams get to where they need. This can range from leading teams, coaching leaders or advising investors on high-risk acquisitions.

I’ve spent much of my career deep in the trenches in startups, small agencies and big companies. I enjoy big challenges and welcome interesting offers of senior roles in forward-thinking companies. It’s that’s you, get in touch.

Projects I’ve delivered
  • Created 6 commercial CD-ROMs for BBC including Noddy, Pingu, Teletubbies, Wallace and Gromit, Only Fools and Horses and Top Of The Pops
  • Ran ActionMan.com for 3 years for Hasbro which led to deal to develop ActionMan as an animated series
  • Creative consultant to Disney Pixar, regularly flew (every 8-10 weeks) to the Studios in Burbank to advise on international digital marketing
  • Created 160+ web-based advergames for clients including McDonalds, Hasbro, LEGO, Pokémon, Butlins and Power Rangers
  • Regular client innovation sessions sessions for the likes of Santander, Direct Line, B&Q, Redbull, E.ON, ClearChannel and many more.
  • Directed Tim Burton and created Disney’s first 360º immersive video shoot (with Richard Nockles, now at Sky)
  • Created Disney’s first web-based augmented reality application for Pixar Cars movie
  • Creator of Zoiks kids IP that gained 60+ million plays in first 6 months on popular game site MiniClip
  • Created pinball physics game engine and wrote a Flash, turn-based multiplayer gaming platform
  • Personally commissioned by Cameron Diaz to create an environmentally focused children’s IP
  • I’m the first 2 Google results for “Child Microchipping Expert” based on expert opinion articles written in The Sun and Metro
  • Created and programmed the hardware for the dynamic 2500 LED light sculpture to launch TransPennine Express train franchise in 2018
  • Helped architects and Sky Creative develop the Sky Innovation Centre
  • Wrote and directed 4 TV ads for Moshi Monsters and led the movie marketing with Universal Pictures
  • Formed start-up that created the mobile voting app for the Brit Awards in 2014
  • Future visitor attraction and theme park ride consultant for Madame Tussauds
